I’m Dr. Emmanuel Pinillos—a Doctor of Physical Therapy, movement specialist, and the founder of Miami Run Club.
My journey has always been rooted in movement. Growing up, I was immersed in sports—cross country, track, soccer, football, basketball, swimming, and weightlifting. Fitness wasn’t just something I did—it was a way of life. Over time, that passion evolved into a profession, where I now help individuals move better, perform at a higher level, and live pain-free through my practice, Healthnomics.
Miami Run Club was born during the pandemic—a time when many people felt disconnected, isolated, and searching for something more. During that same period, I found myself reconnecting with running and the simplicity of movement. That’s when it clicked.
I realized there was an opportunity to bring people together through something powerful yet accessible: movement.
What started as a simple idea—combining fitness, health, outdoor energy, and community—quickly turned into something much bigger. As humans, we’re wired for connection. We thrive in community. We’re tribal by nature. Miami Run Club became a space where people could show up, move their bodies, meet others, and feel part of something.
When I searched the name “Miami Run Club” and saw it was available, I knew it was meant to be. The rest is history.
Today, Miami Run Club is more than just a run—it’s a movement. A place where fitness meets connection, where strangers become Familia, and where a city comes together through shared energy, purpose, and good vibes.
Zach is a Miami Run Club Lead who’s been part of our Run Familia since July 2024. He moved to Miami just a couple of months earlier, leaving his hometown of Richmond, VA for a new career opportunity—and a city he had never visited before. What he found through Miami Run Club was more than just a way to stay active; it became his community, his routine, and the place where he built real friendships. Helping others hit their fitness goals, fostering connections, and planning social events are some of Zach’s favorite parts of being a run lead.
By day, Zach is an Investment Analyst at a global foundation, traveling the world to evaluate new investment opportunities. Outside of work, you’ll find him lifting at the gym, playing sports, reading history, or grilling out with friends.
He’s currently chasing a few big goals: visiting every country in Latin America, setting a PR at the Miami Half Marathon, and leveling up his Spanish fluency. Fun facts? He’s a true 5 AM morning person, enjoys super spicy food, and even competed in NAIGC gymnastics during college.
No matter your running experience or how long you’ve been in Miami, come join us for a run. You might just find the community you’ve been searching for, just like Zach did!

Meet Michelle, our Wednesday morning Breakfast Run Queen.
She started running 4 years ago after a friend signed her up for a half marathon with only one month to prepare. Since then, she’s been dedicated to improving and growing stronger with every mile.
What Michelle loves most about running? The community. She’s all about uplifting others, cheering you on, and making sure no one runs alone on their journey.
In addition to leading runs, she coaches youth track with RunAdic and works as a nurse.
The worst kept secret is that she bakes delicious desserts, which is how the Wednesday run even began.
